The first time i stayed in HNC was middle late sixties. We were coming from the boarder. There was a bear that morning, also an old logger who was camped out there for a local job he was on. The camp was close to the road and was used a a party place. The next time i stayed at HNC, GMC # 2 and 3 In senior command were just finishing the last bits of details. They told us we were the first guests to stay in the newly re-located HNC. Ii forget the year late 80’s early 90’s sometime. We were four with lots of ipa and shared it. The guys may remember it.
Hi James cool story! Thanks for sharing 🙂
