Mojave Point has an expansive view to the west, with the Colorado River clear below.

I went even farther west, past Mojave Point to a viewpoint called The Abyss. Seen above, The Abyss is a deep indention into the south rim, with sheer cliffs that drop up to 3,000 feet to the Tonto Platform below.

…and now I hoofed it back to Mojave Point, to catch the final minutes of sunset.

Oh yeah.
