Looking at your Cremation Creek journal and reviwing others, I've begun to wonder. How is it that you have the uncanny ability to run into every single Big Horn the Canyon has in residence? Love it!:-*
Your pictures are amazing! I am trying to plan a trip with my friend who is coming from Germany, and I would love to hike to Havasu falls! I have a couple of questions as to whether it is plausible to hike there as a round trip in one day? How long would it take each way? How strenuous is it? I am out of shape, but I would hate to put ourselves in a dangerous situation. Any advice would help because I am reading many different things! Thank you very much!

I'm really enjoying combing through your trail reports, after finding my way here from the Yahoo group.
I did my first Canyon hike in June 2008: Bright Angel to Phantom with two nights there, and back up the BA. Ever since, I've dreamed of going back. The pictures in your South Kaibab/Bright Angel loop from 6/7/08 brought back such strong memories, I could practically feel the sunburn on my ears again!
I think I may have to apply for a job with Xanterra after I finish my degree... My Canyon addiction won't be slaked by anything less!

Hi! Stumbled on your site from Grand Canyon Hikers. Got reading your ride across the US . Couldn't stop. Great pictures and discriptions. Thanks for posting. Lots of work! I'll keep reading.

After I "assessed" your latest albums, I'm reminded yet again that I just love that shiny lushness! Life IS good.
By the way,the pics are better on the viewer.

Wonderful write-up Jamie...I don't carry my bed with me, instead relying on a Phantom Ranch bunk...but I am absolutely addicted to my hikes in the Canyon, thanks so much for the wonderful photos and story. ellen
Enjoyed the Long trail Journal, those pics Rock!!!! Very inspiring indeed. Massachusetts
Jamie Great pics and info. Always appreciate the posts @ the Yahoo site and follow the links. Good stuff. Like to see what I might have "missed" OR what I might want to see next time. Thanks
Great site, Mr C.
