our campsite at Grapevine Creek

On this day we went down the bed of Grapevine Creek and tried to reach The Colorado River.

Just for fun, we adopted the mantra “Must not get wet,” to be repeated multiple times while boulder hopping and scrambling. “Must not get wet, must not get wet, must not get wet.” It made things more interesting.
