By then end of February ’09, it was time to return to the Grand Canyon from my hometown in Pennsylvania. This time, instead of flying, I bought a car and gave myself about a week and a half to make the trip. Given the time of year, I chose to drive straight down to Florida and turn west across the southern states, many of which I had never been to before.
