The Mossy Cave Trail is actually beyond the park’s borders, on scenic route 12.

A branch of this trail leads to “tropic ditch” along “water canyon” – more or less a pretty stream with a nice little waterfall. This section of the trail was easily more scenic and intersting than the “mossy cave” itself.

The Mossy Cave – it’s more of an overhanging ledge than a genuine cave.
