April Snow Along The Rim

On April 11th, we received a mixture of sleet, snow, hail, and rain at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was grey and wet all day long. Then, the precipitation stopped just before sunset, and it even looked as though some light could come through the clouds. I hurried to the rim of the canyon at Yavapai and Mather Points to see if there were any photo opportunities, and here’s what I came up with:
